This is not a hotel vacation and retains the characteristics of boat life. The boat may have 2 or 3 bookable cabins at most, and therefore there can be from 2 to 6 passengers on board, in addition to the Group Leader. It is therefore not a large group but an almost individual experience. There is no obligation to participate in shared group activities and everyone will be free to occupy their time as they see fit. Everyone can choose whether to dine on board or book their own restaurant, and whether to visit a museum or relax by reading a book with a steaming cup of coffee.
