The Kvarner Bay region owes its fame in particular to the largest islands of Krk, Rab, Cres and Pag. If there are good weather and sea conditions, we recommend that you head for the north and east coasts of these islands to discover the unreal power of nature, where in particular the wintry bora has heavily carved out the coastal areas of the islands. If you start your sea journey with your luxury yacht from Rijeka or Opatija to the southeast, the first thing you will reach is the island of Krk. In addition to a variety of landscapes - from the karstic, barren stone slopes to the lush green meadows - you will also be impressed by the pretty towns, such as the village of Krk or the picturesque village of Vrbnik (famous for its excellent wines!).
The well-protected Soline Bay in the northeast of the island is one of the safest anchorages on Krk.
This bay, as its name suggests, is famous for its salt pans and the medicinal mud. In the village of Klimno, where there are good anchorage conditions, gourmets can also discover the culinary aspect of this island.
